The crew is here at pdx ready to take off for Atlanta. After a short prayer, we loaded on plane and started the trip. Once we arrived in Atlanta, we disbursed into smaller groups for dinner. Our little group (Matt, Jen, Gordon, Phil, and I) dined at Fridays.
We were able to load the plane bound for Tel Aviv about an hour before takeoff. Once the lost sheep (Matt Seivers) was aboard, we were off!
We are all felling pretty blessed to be on a trip like this and most of us really don't know what to expect. Brett encouraged us all to approach this trip differently than how we approach most vacations. We are anticipating that we will meet God in a new way and that God will change our perspectives and commitments.
